Q. Do I have access to the library? Can I checkout books?
A. Alumni do have access to the library for borrowing materials. Alumni may check out books when they provide current photo identification. Simply request to be a "courtesy borrower." Please visit the circulation desk for more information or learn more online.
Q. Does St. Edward's University offer career help to alumni?
A. You can receive career assistance through our Career Services Office. The staff can assist you with your resume, career exploration and current job searches. Or, you can phone them at 512-448-8530 to sschedule an appointment.
Q. I'd like to work out. Can I use the university's gym?
A. Alumni have access to the racquetball and basketball courts, as well as the indoor pool for a nominal fee. Contact the Athletics Department for more details at 512-448-8480.
Q. Can I still attend events like Festival of Lights or Hillfest?
A. Festival of Lights is open to the entire St. Edward's University community, and that includes alumni. Hillfest is an event intended for the on-campus community, but certain activities are open to alumni. Contact Student Life for possible fees, schedules and other information at 512-448-8422.
Q. I'd like to take a few courses without the pressure of a degree. Can I audit classes?
A. Yes, with permission from the Department Dean. For fee and audit form information, please contact the Registrar's Office.
Q. If I want to re-enroll at St. Edward's, what is the process?
A. Visit undergraduate Admission to apply to the undergraduate college.

Q. How do I get transcripts for myself or sent to another location?
A. To receive an official transcript, you can request a transcript online. Or, you can contact the Office of the Registrar by phone at 512-448-8747.
Q. How can I get in touch with one of my professors?
A. Information on current faculty, staff and students can be found on the St. Edward's University directory online.
Q. How do I recommend a family member or friend for admission?
A. To recommend a family member or friend for admission, simply contact the Alumni Programs office for an Alumni Recommendation Form. After completing the form, mail it back to our office, and the application fee will be waived for the prospective student you have recommended. Or, call us at

Q. Where do I park when I visit campus?
A. As you may know, campus still has strict parking regulations to assure that current students can park during class hours. You may park in any area listed as "Visitor," apparent by the green sign or the white markings on the curb. Parking in any lot restricted to faculty, staff or students may result in your car being towed or booted at your expense. Get a Parking Map.
Q. What are the hours for the bookstore? Can I shop on line?
A. You can shop online for books and other merchandise. If you want to shop in person, the bookstore is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Wednesdays from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The bookstore is closed on Sundays and may be reached by phone at 512-448-8575.
