PSYCHOLOGY MENTORS
We meet monthly, allowing upper division students to provide guidance to lower division students in Psychology. Keep an eye out for emails, our Facebook organization space, as well as this website for details on events. Some topics for this fall include:
September: Welcome to Psychology! Hear more about the major from the Mentors, ask about classes, what internships are like... anything, really!
October: Alumni Panel. Find out what our graduates are up to and find out how they got there. Research? Grad School? Front line? We'll cover it all!
November: Guest from the Austin community speaking about their work in the field.

I am Blake Agee and am a junior Psychology student. One of my favorite experiences was my internship with Austin State Hospital--I plan to return in summer '08. I also volunteer with Texas Runaway Hotline. My plans after graduation are to pursue Clinical Psychology to work with more chronic disorders. |

Hi my name is McKinley Race. I am from Austin. I am now a junior at St. Edwards pursuing a degree in psychology. After graduation I would like to work within the mental health system for a year and work and then start graduate school to obtain my masters in psychology and would like to go into clinical psychology. I have volunteered a few times at Austin State Hospital.

Hi, my name is Charron Sumler and I am a senior Psychology major. I went to high school in San Antonio and moved to Austin in 2005 to attend SEU. I am also a member of the Women¢s Basketball Team and hope to enroll in the MAC program at St. Edward's after I graduate in May of 2009.
