Choose Where Your Giving Goes

St. Edward's University welcomes and encourages gifts earmarked for specific programs that reflect the desires and interests of donors.

  • Undergraduate Scholarships. Gifts made to the general scholarship fund will help offset tuition costs for students with demonstrated financial need. Your support allows the university to continue to make the St. Edward's University educational experience a reality for students from all walks of life.
  • New College Scholarships. Your gift will go directly to scholarships for New College students. New College serves adult students whose access to higher education is often limited by family, work and community demands. Your support offsets the cost of tuition for these dedicated students.
  • Graduate Scholarships. Donations to graduate scholarships will be used to support deserving students enrolled in one of 11 unique Master's programs. The university's graduate programs offer working adults the opportunity to pursue learning that can help them to either advance in their current professions or prepare to pursue new endeavors.
  • CAMP Scholarships. What began as one of the nation's first College Assistant Migrant Programs (CAMP) in 1972, has steadfastly assured that each year thirty-five children of migrant and seasonal workers are able to benefit from a college education at St. Edward’s University. Your generosity ensures that the legacy of this nationally recognized program continues. View the ABC News video.
  • Athletics. Support enables the recruiting of top athletes, which in turn helps teams reach greater levels of success as in 2007-2008 when the Hilltoppers took 5 conference titles and advanced 5 teams to the NCAA tournament. Your gifts mean that Athletic programs remain competitive at the highest levels.
  • Chapel. As the guiding spiritual presence on campus, the St. Edward's University chapel will provide more worship and congregational space for the community to celebrate its Catholic character. Building a new chapel is part of our strategic plan.
  • Holy Cross Institute. Your gift to the Holy Cross Institute will provide mission-based programs, research and training for the lay persons who serve as administrators and educators at Holy Cross schools around the country. Establishing the Holy Cross Institute at St. Edward's University will ensure a "community of practice" where global thinking and local action come together.
  • Endowment. The St. Edward's University endowment helps keep tuition low and provides a continued source of revenue for scholarships, programs and expenses. As the endowment grows, so does the university’s ability to recruit and retain faculty, offer scholarships, develop strong initiatives and create outstanding programs.
  • John Brooks Williams Natural Sciences Center-South Building. Your gift will enable future science students at St. Edward's to perform more extensive research projects, discover new areas of scientific investigation and assist faculty with their explorations. Expanding the sciences is part of our strategic plan.
  • Mary Moody Northen Theatre. Your gift to the Theatre Society makes the unique undergraduate Actor's Equity Association Theater Arts program possible and provides opportunities for students to blend hands-on learning with the experiences of guest artists from the world of professional theater, film and television.
  • Scarborough-Phillips Library. You can help keep the library state-of-the-art by making a gift today. Your gift will help provide the necessary resources that are essential to cultivating the curiosity and love of learning that are hallmarks of a St. Edward's University education.
  • Senior Gift. Senior Gift is an opportunity for the senior class to make a contribution that commemorates their education and experiences on the Hilltop. It's a way for a graduating class to support the next generation of students.
