Artists: Jordan Crosby, Megan Carney, Katherine Johnson, Chelsea Coogler, Lynné Bowman, Sarah Elsey, Angelica Martinez, Michelle Leedy, Chris Ditto, Matt Hines, Glenn Twiggs, and Ryan Slack
This exhibit features a collection of photographs from Xi’an, China, taken summer 2007. Twelve students, led by Professor of Photocommunications Joe Vitone, captured the color and life of Chinese culture and the rapid industrialization of the city and surrounding areas.

Layer by Layer: Revelation of Process

Artists: Randall Reid and Michelle Hays
This exhibit features a collaborative project between artist Randall Reid and graphic designer Michelle Hays. Designed to illuminate the subject matter of layers — physical and metaphorical — through the vehicle of an interactive book, the project utilizes visuals, text and interactive methods to stimulate engagement and understanding of Reid’s process and artwork. Art historian Erina Duganne contributes her writings to the exhibit.

Cryptozoology is the study of evidence that suggests the existence of creatures that have never before been recorded. Jeff Wilson’s images subtly insinuate the existence of the mythological, mysterious and unexplained in everyday life — and chart our attempts to reconcile them. |

The Alchemy

Artist: David Mack
This exhibit features original artwork related to the recent volume of Kabuki: The Alchemy. Kabuki is an ongoing creator-owned comic book series by artist David Mack published by Marvel Comics’ icon imprint. Using his training in art and design, Mack constructs sequential images in mixed media collages of water color paintings, delicate drawings and text.
