Admission
This section is designed to provide you with all the
information and materials necessary to complete an application
for admission to the MAC program. Just as we would like
to understand you, your background, your plans for the
future and how you see a Counseling graduate education
assist you in your development, we want you to understand
the admissions process, how we evaluate applications
and how you can best present yourself as an applicant
for admission. Should you need assistance with your
application, or have questions about the admission process,
feel free to contact Tresca
Grannum.
In short, the MAC looks for candidates who have demonstrated
their ability to succeed through the length and breadth
of their work experience, their academic profile, extracurricular
and community service involvement, leadership potential,
communication ability, and motivation.
The Admissions Committee evaluates each applicant on
the basis of all the information provided in the application.
We have no admissions quotas (i.e. required percentages
of women, international students, minorities, etc.).
This philosophy holds true for all our degree programs.
