Welcome to the St. Edward's Police Department's web site. The dedicated staff of the Police Department is proud to provide services to the St. Edward's University community. Crime and safety issues are addressed through a cooperative approach balancing security, convenience, and safety. This approach to campus safety and security has proven affective in providing a positive learning environment.

The St. Edward's police staff comprises self-motivated men and women who have proven their value to the law enforcement profession. The low incident rate of serious crime on campus is a result of the Department's focus on Safety, Education, Unselfish Professionalism and Dedication. Your Police Department here at St. Edward's is made up of officers that have the education and experience to make a positive difference in your quality of life. You are encouraged to become an active team member in
keeping St. Edward's University one of the safest communities in Texas.

Please take advantage of the programs that the Department offers. St. Edward's Police Officers and staff provide such crime prevention services as Operation Identification (marking your valuables with a permanent number such as the one on your driver's license) and Block Watch (keeping an eye out for suspicious activity on campus).
